As you know, I can license pictures on the micro sites for $.20 each and have a choice from millions of images. However, I want to use the photos for on line greeting cards and on t-shirts and mugs, and so on...
I am working directly with photographers because I am asking for a license that permits me to do this. I can pay you $1,500 to license up to 500 pictures.

In review, I am asking you for a license to use your pictures for all of our business purposes, and the license is non-exclusive. If we work together, you will, of course, maintain ownership of your photos and can continue to license them to other people and do whatever you want because you maintain ownership and the copyright.

If you want to do this, here are the steps we will go through together.

1) Attached is the licensing agreement.

2) You sign the licensing agreement and email it back to me.

3) I will select the photos at shutterstock.com and put them in a lightbox. I will email you the lightbox so you know which pictures I want.

4) I will then put the money in escrow using the services at http://www.safefunds.com. You will be able to verify that the money is in escrow waiting for you to deliver the pictures. Note: I have also paid Photographers through sending them cash through Western Union. I have sent money to Photographers in Russia and other eastern European countries through Western Union, and can do that for you also if you prefer.

5) In order for you to receive the money out of escrow, you will need to sign up for a free account at the escrow company, safefunds.com. You can see the way it will work by going to: https://members.safefunds.com/SFWPGM/HOWWORKS.HTML.

6) Once you have set up your account at safefunds.com, I will begin a transaction there for you to be able to receive the money.

7) You upload the pictures to a file sharing site like DropBox.com so I can download them. You can use any file sharing site to do this.

As soon as I have the pictures, the money in escrow will be released to you. You can receive the money through a bank wire transfer or a check from the escrow company that would be mailed to you.

Да. Подобные типы использования требуют приобретения расширенной лицензии. Клиент лукавит, говоря, что может "license pictures on the micro sites for $.20 each "....

Что делать. Я бы ему указал на соответствие расширенной лицензии и предложил взаимовыгодную сделку: Он платит по $20 за каждое фото автору и тем самым в несколько раз экономит по сравнению с легальной покупкой лицензии на стоке.

скажу так, раз всё-таки ответил, то он всё-таки заинтересован вашим портфолио ... иначе бы пошёл сразу других обзванивать и не делать best price вам ...

с одной стороны жаба душит продавать дешево фотки с таким объемом использования...
